NEW DELHI: (AMN) The centre interlocutors to Jammu and Kashmir submitted their interim report to Home Minister P Chidambaram here on Tuesday.
The three member group which visited Jammu and Kashmir recently also briefed him about the visit and presented its report with some recommendations. The leader of the group Dileep Padgaonkar expressed hope about the solution of the vexed issue but said he did not have a magic formula.
Padgaonkar however refused to divulge details of the contents of the report saying it is matter between the government and the interlocutors.
The interlocutors will start their second visit to the Kashmir within a fortnight. The group also comprising academician Radha Kumar and former Information Commissioner M M Ansari was set up on October 13 by the Union Home Ministry to interact with Kashmiris and find a viable solution to the issue.
