RANCHI: (AMN)  A three member government led by BJP leader Arjun Munda sworn in here on Saturday at a simple ceremony. The oath of Secrecy was administered by the Governor M.O.H. Farooq to Arjun Munda as chief minister and AJSU Chief Sudesh Mahto and leader of the JMM Legislature Party in the Jharkhand Assembly Hemant Soren as ministers.
Munda, who head the coalition comprising the BJP, JMM, JDU and AJSU, had staked claim on Tuesday after getting unconditional support from his allies.
Senior BJP leaders Ravi Shankar Prasad, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, S.S. Ahluwalia, Vijay Goel, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, JMM chief Shibu Soren were present in the function. Almost all the MLAs of Jharkhand Assembly along with leader of Opposition, Rajendra Prasad Singh were also present in the function.
Before the oath taking ceremony, the Chief Secretary of Jharkhand, Dr. A.K. Singh announced the revocation of President rule from the State.
