A collision between a private bus and a car has led to the death of 10 people including two children in Karnataka. The accident took place between Tirumakudalu and T Narasipura in Mysuru on Monday evening.
The car with 13 passengers was travelling from Ballary to Mysuru on an excursion. Among them, 10 died in the accident and the remaining three injured have been admitted to the hospital in T Narasipura. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has announced a compensation of two lakh rupees to the next of kin of those who died in the accident.
President Droupadi Murmu has expressed grief over the tragic road accident in Mysuru. In a tweet, the President said, she is pained to learn about the unfortunate loss of lives including those of children in a road accident. She conveyed her condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
