Yesterday, Delhi Capitals defeated Gujarat Titans by five runs in low scoring thriller match at Ahmedabad. The match was a roller coaster ride since the very first ball, with Mohammad Shami scalping his first prey. At one time Delhi Capitals were at 23 for 5 in the fifth over. But Axar Patel, Aman Hamin Khan and Ripal Patel saved the innings, taking the DC total to a decent 130 for the loss of 8 wickets.
The story of Gujarat Titans was no different. They also lost 4 wickets within seven overs, and could manage to score only 125 runs for the loss of six wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Skipper Hardik Pandya was the highest scorer with 59 runs. Mohammed Shami was declared Player of the Match.
