Nagpur Police have detained several activists of Bharat Mukti Morcha as they made an attempt to lay siege the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s RSS headquarters here today.
Hundreds of Bharat Mukti Morcha workers had reached Nagpur to join the march. However, the police refused permission for this march. Therefore, the police did not allow this march to proceed. When the police stopped them, the workers started dharna at Indora Chowk itself. After this, the police took action and took the activists into custody. During this, the protesters also raised slogans against the RSS.

Apart from this, security has also been beefed up outside the RSS office. Vaman Meshram-led Bharat Mukti Morcha attempted to lay siege to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters in Nagpur, saying the ideology of the organization was not in accordance with the Indian Constitution. Meanwhile, the police have taken Vaman Meshram into custody too.
the High court has also denied permission for this event. Nagpur City Police has imposed Section 144 in the entire Indora area for security.
