BJP MPs from Delhi have written to Lt Governor V K Saxena demanding inquiry into the allegation made by AAP that BJP was trying to poach its MLAs.
They described the allegation as an attempt to divert public attention from irregularities in the implementation of excise policy and classroom construction in the national capital.
Briefing media in New Delhi today, along with other BJP MPs, Manoj Tiwari said the claim by AAP MLAs that they received calls from BJP offering them money is a matter of forensic investigation. He alleged that AAP leaders are constantly changing their statements on the issue of Delhi excise policy. Another party MP Parvesh Verma said, AAP MLAs claiming to have been offered 20 crore rupees by BJP should undergo lie detector test. Rejecting the allegation, BJP MP Hans Raj Hans criticised Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal terming the charges as lies.
