New COVID cases has come down to below 1000 again in Puducherry, as the case positivity rate stands at 29.05 %. The Union Territory reported 923 new cases which include 650 cases from Puducherry, 186 from Karaikal, 72 from Yanam and 15 cases from Mahe. Five deaths have been reported in the UT today.
The active caseload stood at 11,027 includes. The recovery rate stood at 91.94 % and the case fatality rate is 1.20 %. The total number of persons vaccinated till date, aggregated to 15,33,395 including 2nd and booster dose.
