The Health and Family Welfare Ministry has issued guidelines for the international passengers. The Standard Operating Procedure will come into effect from 11th of January.

Under the revised guidelines, travellers coming from the countries are required to undergo seven days home quarantine and shall undertake the RT-PCR test on 8th day of arrival in India. Travellers will be required to upload results of RT-PCR test on Air Suvidha Portal.

The revised guidelines state that all travellers planning for travel need to submit information in self declaration format on the online Air Suvidha Portal before the scheduled travel. The traveller needs to upload a negative Covid-19 RT-PCR report to be conducted 72 hours prior to undertaking the journey.
