The India Meteorological Department has said that cold wave conditions are likely to continue during the next two days in North West India and certain parts of West India. Meteorological Department said that dry northwesterly winds of about 10-15 km per hour are likely to prevail over plains of northwest India till tomorrow enhancing the adverse impact of cold wave and cold Day conditions.
Cold Wave to Severe Cold Wave conditions are very likely to continue to prevail over a few pockets of Punjab, Haryana & Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh tomorrow and very likely to abate thereafter. Cold Wave conditions in a few pockets very likely to continue to prevail over Jammu, Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh today and tomorrow and very likely to abate thereafter.
