Bangladesh will start giving COVID-19 booster doses on a trial basis from today. Bangladesh’s Health Minister Zahid Maleque said, the government has decided to provide booster doses to the elderly and front line workers like doctors, nurses, government officials and journalists, reports the official news agency BSS.
The Minister said, close to seven crore people have received the first dose of the vaccine and 4.5 crore people have received both the doses of the COVID vaccine till date.
