The charge sheet filed by the National Investigation Agency in the Antilia Bomb Scare case has revealed that dismissed Mumbai Police personnel and prime accused Sachin Waze had removed both the original number plates of the Scorpio vehicle and affixed fake vehicle registration number plates. The agency had filed the charge sheet on 3rd of this month before a special NIA court in Mumbai.
The charge sheet further stated that the fake number plates on the Scorpio vehicle pertained to a Range Rover registered in the name of Reliance Industries, deployed as a convoy car for security of Ms. Nita Ambani, wife of industrialist Mukesh Ambani.
It further said that Waze had deliberately chosen this registration number to create an enormous impact of the crime by using the number plate of the convoy car deployed for security of Nita Ambani.
