Karnataka Health Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar has said that a heightened vigilance is in place in Karnataka districts bordering Kerala.

Speaking to media persons in Bengaluru today, he said, those coming from Kerala will have to compulsorily undergo a week-long institutional quarantine irrespective of them having negative RT- PCR test report or have been vaccinated.

When asked about those entering Karnataka daily for the purpose of health, education and business, the Minister said that a standard operating procedure is being worked out for them.
