Telangana continued to show decline in new daily COVID cases and reported 3 thousand 837 COVID cases during the past 24 hours. The state government in its Covid Bulletin stated that currently over 46 thousand Nine hundred active cases are in the state. The number of COVID cases reported so far in the state has gone up to 5 lakh 40 thousand 603. While the recovery rate also continued to improve for the past two weeks to reach 90.75 per cent, 4 thousand 9 hundred 76 more people recovered from the disease during the past 24 hours. This took the total recoveries in the state to over Four lakh 90 thousand 620. Meanwhile, 25 more people died due to COVID and other comorbidities in the state taking the toll to 3037.
Meanwhile, the GHMC area reported 594 fresh COVID cases during the past 24 hours while Medchal Malkajgiri, Rangareddy and Khammam districts reported about three hundred fresh cases each.
