An all religion prayer meeting was organized today to pay tributes to the victims Bhopal gas tragedy. It was 36 years since the dreaded Bhopal gas tragedy took place. Thousands of people lost their lives in this worst industrial accident in Bhopal in 1984 on the intervening night of 2 and 3 December.
An all religion prayer meeting has been organized today to pay tributes to the deceased gas victims.
Various religious preaches will be recited by religious leaders in this prayer meeting held at Barkatullah Bhawan in Bhopal from 10.30 am. A two-minute silent tribute will also be paid in memory of the deceased.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also attended the prayer meeting. In view of the corona epidemic, instructions was given to ensure compliance of the guidelines issued by the central and state government in the tribute meeting.
