President Ram Nath Kovind congratulated all on the foundation laying of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
In a tweet today, Mr. Kovind said, the temple of Lord Ram is being built in tune with law and it defines India’s spirit of social harmony and people’s zeal. He said, the temple complex will become a symbol of modern India based on the ideals of Ramrajya.
Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu described the construction of the Ram temple as a re-coronation of the highest human values of truth, morality and ideals that the Maryada Purushottam epitomized during his life.
In a series of tweets today, Mr. Naidu said, as the King of Ayodhya, Lord Rama led an exemplary life worthy of emulation by everyone. Lord Rama’s conduct and values constitute the core of the consciousness of India cutting across all kinds of divisions and barriers and are relevant for the present.
