PIB Fact check team has refuted the reports that Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, DPIIT website was hacked. Claim is being made through some media reports that the website of DPIIT was hacked, ascribing this as a retaliatory move by hackers due to some developments and decision taken in past.
The PIB Fact check team has said, the claim is not true. The DPIIT site was under routine maintenance and is running on NIC cloud,it added. Allegations made in the claim have been found to be baseless and unfounded.
