The number of COVID-19 cases has crossed 2000 mark in Nepal. According to the Ministry of Health and Population 288 more persons tested positive during last 24 hours taking total number to 2099. Ministry spokesperson said 45 more persons cured and discharged from various hospitals.
There are 1825 active cases, while 266 people have been recovered. 8 persons have died of COVID-19 so far. Currently 1,45,375 people are kept under quarantine across the country. Out of 77 districts of the Himalayan nation 61 districts have reported corona virus infection till date.
