Normal activities have started in UP again with adherence to the social distancing norms. However restrictions are still in force at Delhi border in Gautam Budh Nagar and Ghaziabad districts while inter district movement has started in state.

State government has yesterday issued new guidelines regarding the first stage of lifting the restrictions defined under lockdown.

In all offices work started with maximum attendance first time after the starting of Lockdown. As per the new guidelines, 100 per cent attendance of staff would be allowed but it has been divided in three shifts. The three time slots are from 9 am to 5 pm, 10 am to 6 pm and 11 am to 7 pm. After getting the permission to open markets 9 am to 9 pm a lot of movement was seen on roads and shopping areas.

UP State Road Transport Corporation Limited (UPSRTC) bus service started from different bus stations with the thermal scanning facility for passengers. Keeping in view the danger of spread of Corona virus from Delhi, district administration of Gautam Budh Nagar, Noida and Ghaziabad have decided to continue the restrictions of movement from Delhi border.
