Nagaland reported nine fresh positive cases of COVID-19 today. Out of the nine, six are tested positive in Dimapur and three in Kohima. With this, the total number of active confirmed COVID-19 Positive cases has risen to 18.
According to the COVID-19 War room Nagaland dashboard, Dimapur has registered 12 positive cases, 5 in Kohima and one in Tuensang. All positive patients are undergoing treatment at the respective districts Covid hospital and are in stable condition.
Meanwhile, Nagaland Government has decided to establish a BSL-2 testing laboratory in Tuensang district headquarters and set up TrueNat testing facility in all the districts of the State.
The Government has also taken a decision that all returnees from outside the State will be tested for COVID-19 and they will proceed to their respective districts only after the results of the tests are made available.
