Manipur State Health Department has announced that first ever positive case of Novel Corona Virus is detected in Manipur.
A press release issued by the Department said, one 23 year old Manipuri person returning from England (UK) has tested positive for Novel Corona Virus this morning. She belongs to Thangmeiband Lourungpurel Leikai of Imphal West District Manipur.
She is under care and treatment at JNIMS hospital in Imphal and they have started tracing the persons who had come in contact with her.
Meanwhile, the state government has ordered curfew in the State as a preventive measure to contain spreading of disease.
