Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis embarked on Maha Janadesh Yatra from Gurukunj Mozari, in Amravati district today.
The Yatra was flagged off by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. In his address Chief Minister said if voted to power he will dedicate next term addressing the problem of drought in Maharashtra. Future generations will not witness droughts, he emphasised.
He further added in last 5 years his government worked more than the opposition did in 15 years.
He stressed on the facts that Maharashtra now ranks 3rd in terms of education, as compared to 18th earlier, highest number of jobs were created in Maharashtra in last 5 years, in terms of investment also Maharashtra ranks first.
During the yatra, the Chief Minister will travel through 150 assembly constituencies in 32 districts by covering a distance of 4384 kms.
