A topmost Jaish commander of South Kashmir Munna Lahori from Pakistan was killed in an encounter with security forces in Shopian district in Jammu & Kashmir.
Lahori was known as IED making expert and was pushing recruitment in the southern belt. Police said he was also responsible for a series of civilian killings in the local area.
A senior police spokesman said another terrorist identified as Zeenatul Islam of Turkwangan area of Shopian district was also killed in the encounter.
