Four BSF jawans were killed and two others injured in an encounter with Naxals in Kanker district of Chhattisgarh today
Home Minister Rajnath Singh has expressed anguish over the loss of lives of BSF personnel. In a tweet, Mr Singh said, he spoke to the Director General, BSF, regarding the encounter.
The Home Minister said the DG apprised him of the operation. Mr Singh said the DG, BSF will be leaving for Chhattisgarh to help the families of martyred BSF soldiers and also assess the ground situation.
