India beat Australia by 8 runs in the second ODI to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series. Chasing a target of 251 Ausralia were all out for 242 in 49.3 overs.
Earlier, Put into bat, India were all out for 250. With his sparkling 116, Skipper Virat Kohli scored his 40th century in ODI today.
Vijay Shankar contributed 46. Rohit Sharma and Mahendra Singh Dhoni failed to open their account.
The hosts won the opening ODI by six wickets in Hyderabad. India will play three more ODIs before the domestic Indian Premier League starts on the 23rd of this month.
