On the second day of the Premier Badminton League, Lee Yong Dae led Mumbai Rockets played against H.S.Prannoy led Delhi Dashers. Mumbai Rocket beat Delhi Dashers 5-0 at the end of their tie. In the first match, dynamic duo of Lee Yongde and Kim Gijung gave a flying start to Mumbai Rockets, beating Chai Biao and Wang Sijie 14-15, 15-12, 15-9.
In the second match, Anders Antonsen of Mumbai Rockets beat Tommy Sugiarto of Delhi Dashers 15-13, 15-7. In the third match, Sameer Verma of Mumbai Rockets beat Delhi Dashers captain H.S.Prannoy 15-14, 15-9. In the fourth match, the pair of Jongjit and Lee Chia Hsin of Delhi Dashers beat Lee Yong Dae and Pia Zebadiah of Mumbai Rockets 15-9, 15-12. In the women’s singles match between Shriyanshi Pardeshi of Mumbai Rockets and Evengya of Delhi Dashers , Pardeshi won giving Mumbai Rockets 5-0 lead. Now, first match of the team between Viktor Axelsen-led Ahmedabad Smash Masters and Saina Nehwal-led North Eastern Warriors, is in progress when reports last came in.
