The Board of Control For Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday announced squads for the One-Day International (ODI) series against Australia and New Zealand.

BCCI also announced squad for the T-20 series against New Zealand.

Virat Kohli will continue to lead the side in both the formats and Rohit Sharma will be his deputy.

Former skipper MS Dhoni who was dropped from the T20 series against Australia has been included in both the ODI and T20 squads.

Young wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has been dropped from the ODI squad but included in the T20 series against New Zealand. Dinesh Karthik will be the second wicketkeeper.

Ambati Rayudu, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami, included in the ODI series, have been dropped in the T20 squad.

All-rounder Krunal Pandya has been included in the T-20 series. The others included in the squads common to both the series are batsmen K.L.Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan, all-rounders Kedar Jadhav and Hardik Pandya, spinners Kuldeep Yadav and  Yuzuvendra Chahal, pacers Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah and Khaleel Ahmed.

India will play three-match ODI series against Australia with the first ODI scheduled at Sydney on the 15th of next month. After concluding Australia tour, India will play five  ODI matches and 3 matches T20 series against New Zealand.
