BJP President Amit Shah has expressed hope that his party will form the governments in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan after declaration of the election results on Tuesday, saying the three states have progressed remarkably well in BJP rule.
Addressing a conclave of Hindi daily Dainik Jagran here last evening, BJP President Amit Shah said the choice before the people in the next year’s Lok Sabha elections is whether they want an effective government at the Centre or a helpless one.
He said, Rafale was an absolutely honest deal and corruption allegations of the Congress are entirely baseless. Mr. Shah reiterated the government’s commitment to root out corruption wherever it exists.
He justified the findings of the National Register of Citizens or NRC in Assam.
Mr.Shah said, Indians have the first right on the country’s resources and not the intruders. The NRC has to be strengthened to identify and deport the illegal entrants from all across the country. He said, demonetization was a right step to strengthen the national economy.
The dishonest elements were identified and their massive ill-gotten wealth came in light.
