Janata Dal (United) has expelled its state party general Secretary Rajiv Raut following his involvement in the alleged sexual exploitation of minor girls at Muzaffarpur shelter home.
He is the son of former social welfare Minister Damodar Raut. CBI is likely to interrogate politicians and several IAS officers in the sex racket case, whose names figured in call details record (CDR) of main accused Brajesh Thakur.
Sources said CBI will interrogate former Minister of social welfare department and officials of the health department. CBI has also seized objectionable and vital documents from the house of Brajesh Thakur.
Meanwhile, Urban Development Minister Suresh Sharma categorically stated that he will not hesitate to resign if any evidence is found against him in sexual exploitation case.
