US President Donald Trump today said, there was no hurry to denuclearise North Korea under his accord with Kim Jong Un. Speaking to media in Washington, he said discussions are going very well and have no time limit and no speed limit.
Mr Trump said, he discussed the North Korean issue with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday at their summit in Helsinki. He said, Mr Putin is going to be involved in the sense that he is with the United States.
The US President had met with Kim, last month, for a summit in Singapore during which the North Korean leader pledged to work towards denuclearization of the peninsula. But, the accord did not spell out a timetable for the process or say how it would be carried out.
