A Jaguar fighter jet of the Indian Air Force crashed today, soon after taking off from Jamnagar base in Gujarat. A Defence spokesman said, the aircraft was on a routine training mission from Jamnagar when it crashed around 10.30 AM. The spokesman said, the pilot has been killed.
A Court of Inquiry has been ordered by the air headquarters to investigate the cause of the accident.
