Karnataka State BJP President BS Yeddyurappa released the party’s manifesto here today in the presence of State and National leaders.
It promises farm loan waiver up to 1 lakh rupees including all those loans in Nationalised and Co-operative Banks, it assures allocation of 1,50,000 crore rupees for various irrigation projects in Karnataka and also to, set up a special cell in Chief Minister Office to look after farming issues, it also promises to strengthen the Lokayukta and women police force.

It promises to provide free sanitary napkins to BPL women and girl students at one rupee under the newly proposed “Stree Suvidha Scheme’.

Under “Mukhya Mantri Smartphone Yojane” the manifesto promises to provide smart phone to the women belonging Below Poverty Line families. It says that Hyderabad-Karnataka Industrial Mega Corridor will be built from Hosapete to Hyderabad, passing through Koppal, Raichur, Yadgir, Kalaburgi and Bidar.

A scheme will be launched to provide 25,000 rupees and three grams of gold for brides coming under the BPL category during the marriage. It also proposes to open “Annapoorna Canteens for the supply of subsidised food items.
