In Indonesia, at least two people were killed and seven injured in a strong 6 point 5 magnitude earthquake in Java island. The quake took place late yesterday and caused damages to more than 100 buildings.
Indonesia’s national disaster management agency said the quake activated early tsunami warning systems in the south of Java, prompting evacuations in some coastal areas, but no tsunami was detected.
