army-terror-attackSecurity forces in Jammu and Kashmir gunned down three LeT terrorists in an encounter in Handwara on Tuesday. On the one hand the state is following a zero tolerance policy on terrorism on the other efforts are on to bring misguided J&K youth back into the mainstream.

Operation all out continues unabataed as three terrorists belonging to Lashkar E Toiba, were killed by security forces on Tuesday in a joint operation, in Handwara area of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Joint operation of Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police began on Monday night and continued till Tuesday morning. Huge cache of ammunition has been recovered. All the three killed were Pakistani nationals and belonged to the Lashkar-e-Taiba.

In fact, since the state formulated a policy on surrender of Kashmiri Youth who have joined the terrorist ranks. The leaders of terror networks are rattled . In fact , Prime Minister Narendra Modi also appealed to the people to help rebuild Kashmir from the ramparts of the Red Fort on August 15.

On November 17, Majid, the footballer turned LeT terrorist surrendered, after his mother appealed to him on Social Media to return home. As his homecoming triggered huge interest in the valley, many parents followed suit to connect with their children. It didn’t take long for tangible results to appear. Two more youths have now shunned the path of terror and returned back for peace and harmony.

Many parents have now adopted the social media platforms to appeal to the children to come back to the mainstream. In addition Army’s Operation All Out campaign has considerably reduced terror incidents in the valley. The terrorist organisations across the border are, therefore, feeling the heat.

In the last few days, security forces have achieved a series of successes against terrorists in Kashmir. In November, security agencies have gunned down many big names or close associates from across the border.

The terrorists killed, include the son of Abdul Rehman Makki, the son of Hafiz Saeed and Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi’s nephew Owaad alias Osmana Jangi, who were handlers of the terrorists.

Earlier, on November 7, the militant named Talha Rashid, nephew of Masood Azhar, chief of the Jaish-e-Mohammed was neutralized.
