Taking similar line adopted by former Attorney General Mukul Rohatagi, another top legal advisor to the Modi government, Solicitor General Ranjit Kumar on Friday announced his resignation, citing “personal-family issues”.
“I have resigned only because there are certain family issues, which i need to attend to”, Mr Kumar told a news channel.
He further said, “I need to spend more time at home.
