An earthquake of 5.1 magnitude today hit Yangbi County in southwest Yunnan Province of China. China Earthquake Networks Centre said that quake struck at 7:55 am local time.
State-run Xinhua news agency reported that the epicentre of the quake was at a depth of about 12 kilometres.
