Delhi Police has busted an organised network involved in printing and supplying duplicate NCERT textbooks. By conducting a raid in Loni area of Ghaziabad, Delhi Police recovered a total of 44,862 duplicate NCERT textbooks and two offset printing press machines along with paper reels, valued at 2 crore rupees. In a statement, Delhi Police said that three persons were arrested in the case for supplying duplicate and pirated NCERT books. During the operation it was revealed that the accused was operating an illegal printing factory.
