416 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported in Karnataka during the last twenty four hours and taking the total positive cases to 8,697. In all, 181 patients were discharged from the various hospitals in the state and taking the total discharges to 5,391.
At present, 3,170 active cases are in the state. Nine people succumbed to the COVID and taking the total number of deaths to 132. Total 9,833 swab samples were tested in the state and the total number of samples tests increased to 4,93,893.
In Bengaluru, 94 new positive cases were reported today and the total positive cases in the metropolitan city increased to 1,076. Out of 30 districts, there is no new positive case reported from four districts today.
