Two terrorists have been killed by security forces in an encounter in Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir, . Police sources said, acting on a tip-off, security forces had launched a massive search operation in the forests of Bhagwan area yesterday.
The militants were spotted in Gadi nallah area, who after being challenged, opened fire on security forces.
After a few hours of gun battle, both the terrorists were killed in the wee hours today. A huge quantity of arms and ammunition have been recovered from their possession.
The terrorists were the absconding SPOs who had escaped Police Lines Doda along with their service rifles last month and had joined Hizbul Mujahiddin outfit.
