Eeleven people were killed and 21 others injured when a bus fell into a deep gorge in Lunglei district,in Mizoram, police said today .The passenger bus, plying between Aizawl and Lawngtlai,headquarter of Lawngtlai district, met the accident near Ramlaitui village last night .The deceased included four women and the driver of the bus.
The cause of the accident was yet to be determined.However, the police suspect driver might have been dozed off or was drunk. The injured were taken to a hospital at Thenzawl in Serchhip district.
