Yeddyurappa arrived at Rashtrapati Bhavan  along with 114 MLAs and five letters  support to prove his majority. It was claimed that one MLA was in hospital. BJP stalwarts Sushma Swaraj ,Arun Jaitley, M Venkaiah Nadu  and scores of party supporters accompanied him. The NDA has demanded recall of the governor for his so called unconstitutional activities.  The BJP President Nitin Gadkari claimed that the Yeddyurappa led government enjoys the majority in the Karntaka assembly.

Yeddyurappa had on Sunday shot off a protest letter to President , The Prime Minister and Union home minister  against  governor Bhardwaj’s move to recommend President’s rule in Karnataka.
The report from Bhardwaj allegedly recommending imposition of president’s rule in the state, comes in the wake of Supreme Court reversing the Karnataka high court decision of disqualifying 11 BJP rebel MLAs and five independents ahead of the October 10, 2010 floor test in the assembly.   

Former Prime Minister and JD(S) National President Deve Gowda has demanded  resignation of Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and Speaker K G Boppaiah in Karnataka. Speaking to media person   in Bangalore today, Deve Gowda said in the background of Supreme Court strictures issued against them, they should resign immediately.
