which was scheduled Sunday has been postponed due to the Prime Minister’s pre occupation with UPA -2 celebrations completion of second year in office.

The cabinet was to discuss report sent by the Karnataka Governor recommending imposition of President’s rule in the state.
The Home ministry which received the Governor’s report has already conveyed its views to the Prime Minister’s office. A decision on the issue is likely to be taken in the next couple of days when prime minister return from his tour to Ethiopia and Tanzania.

Meanwhile, the BJP agitation seeking the recall of State Governor H. R Bharadwaj continued for the third day in Karnataka. Party cadres staged protests in Bellary and Mysore. BJP senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu said in Bangalore that the party has set a 24 hour deadline for the Centre to decide on the Governor’s report recommending President rule, or a nationwide agitation will be launched.

On the other hand, Congress cadres staged black flag demonstrations at several places against the continuation of the BJP government in the state. Congress workers termed the BJP Government in the state as unconstitutional and sought its dismissal before courting arrest.
