World leaders and the UN have condemned the suicide blast in Afghan capital Kabul that killed at least 95 people and injured over 150 yesterday. India termed it as barbaric and dastardly saying that there can be no justification for such reprehensible attacks. In a statement, the External Affairs Ministry said, the perpetrators and their supporters should be brought to justice.
Condemning the attack, US President Donald Trump called for a decisive action against the Taliban that has claimed responsibility for the attack.

A statement from the Foreign Ministry of France offered support for Afghanistan’s fight against the scourge of terrorism. Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates have also condemned the suicide bombing. Saudi Arabia expressed its solidarity with Afghanistan in the face of terrorism and extremism.
UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said, indiscriminate attacks against civilians are grave violations of human rights and international humanitarian law, and can never be justified. The UN Security Council has also underlined the need to hold the perpetrators, financiers and sponsors of such attacks accountable and bring them to justice.
In a statement, it urged all countries to cooperate actively with Afghanistan and all other relevant authorities in this regard. The head of UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, Tadamichi Yamamoto said, the attack is nothing short of an atrocity.
