Wall Street stocks tumbled yesterday after weak manufacturing data sparked worries about a US recession. The S&P 500 sank 1.4 percent. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 1.2 per cent. The Nasdaq Composite saw the steepest decline, collapsing 2.3 per cent.
