The counting of votes for the election to 12 district councils and 125 Panchayat Samitis across Maharashtra will be held today. The counting is scheduled to start at 10 am and will decide the fate of 7,438 candidates. The State Election Commission has completed all arrangements for the process. Voting was held on Saturday across the 12 district councils – Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Pune, Satara, Kolhapur, Solapur, Sangli, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Parbhani, Dharashiv, and Latur. Polling was also held for 1,462 seats across the 125 Panchayat Samitis in the state.
