Rahul Gandhi led Bharat Jodo Yatra culminated at Lal Chowk with flag hoisting ceremony
After receiving massive public support the Rahul Gandhi led Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir completed today at Lal Chowk.
The Yatra covered 4080kms in 12 states & 2 UTs, walking for 116 days. Rahul Gandhi addressed 12 public meetings,100+ corner meetings,13 PCs, along with 275+ planned walking interactions & 100+ sitting interactions.
Senior Congress leader and Member Parliament Rahul Gandhi hoisted the national flag at Ganta Ghar in Lal Chowk area of Srinagar after Bharat Jodo Yatra reached in the city centre.
As per the media reports, Rahul Gandhi hoisted the flag in presence of a large gathering.
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi resumed the Yatra from Pantha Chowk area towards Lal Chowk along with his sister and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi and hundreds of people.
The Yatra reached Pantha Chowk on Saturday after it resumed from Awantipora area of Pulwama district.
Adequate security arrangements have been put in place in and around the commercial hub Lal Chowk for the Yatra.
