President Pranab Mukherjee has said that Vedas are sources of our culture and UNESCO has recognised them as oral heritage. Inaugurating the Sri Venkateswara Veda Pathshala at Ai Bhimavaram village in Akiveedu mandal of West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh today, Mr Mukherjee said Vedic texts enshrine the message of world peace, prosperity and sustainable development. Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams (TTD) has constructed the Pathshala at a cost of about 5 crore rupees.
