Delhi transport Minister Gopal Rai today inducted 30 year-old V Saritha as the first women driver of the Delhi Transport Corporation. The Minister appreciated Saritha, who belongs to Telangana, for accepting the challenge of driving a bus on the roads of Delhi and complimented the DTC officials for their bold decision.
Mr Rai said, the decision is likely to inspire and encourage other women to choose driving as a career.
