A provision of five thousand and four crore rupees has been made in the Union Budget for the Development of a New railway line and passenger facilities in Uttrakhand. Dehradun and Haridwar Railway stations will be made world-class under the station development plan. Nine more stations will be developed.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for the budget. He said this will expand passenger facilities. The local products of the State will also be encouraged by the One Station One Product scheme.
