Campaigning is in full swing for the ten Lok Sabha constituencies in Uttar Pradesh which will go to polls on Tuesday. These seats are Sambhal, Hathras, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etah, Badaun, Aonla and Bareilly. All eyes will be on the Mainpuri seat, the traditional bastion of the Samajwadi party, where the party has fielded Dimple Yadav while UP Minister Jaiveer Singh is the BJP candidate.
BSP has given a ticket to former MLA Shiv Prasad Yadav. BJP is leaving no stone unturned to emerge victorious by highlighting the developmental work of the Central Government including guarantees of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, dynasty politics as well as the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Samajwadi party is raising the issue of unemployment, inflation, reservation, and paper leak and cast census to corner the BJP. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav is scheduled to hold a roadshow in Mainpuri this evening. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a public meeting in Etawah adjoining Mainpuri tomorrow. Several local leaders and workers of BJP and BSP are holding door-to-door campaigns to garner support in different parts of this Lok Sabha constituency. The campaigning will conclude tomorrow evening.
