At least 8 people including 2 children died and 10 got injured in a road accident in Sambhal district. Police sources told AIR that incident took place near Lahrawan village of Bahjoi area when a speeding container truck collided with another pickup vehicle last night.
7 people died on spot and one succumbed to the injuries in hospital. Condition of few injured is reported to be critical. All injured are admitted in hospitals. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has express grief over the incident and directed officials to provide proper medical care and to the injured.
